About this resource
This hands-on demo walks admins through creating a Periodic Certification step by step. You'll navigate to the Certifications section under Learn, add a new periodic certification, enter a title and description, configure timing and renewal periods, add required courses with a minimum passing grade, enroll learner groups, and publish the certification. Each tab must be saved before moving to the next. The demo covers both one-time and recurring certification setups.
Questions this resource answers
- What is the difference between a periodic certification and a one-time certification?
- A periodic certification has a renewal period so learners must redo it on a schedule. A one-time certification uses a due date with renewal turned off.
- Can I add multiple courses to a single certification?
- Yes, you can search for and add as many courses as needed, and drag them to change their order.
- How do I enroll learners in a certification?
- You can search for and select groups to enroll in the Groups tab, or enroll individuals one at a time from their profile.
- When does a certification become visible to learners?
- The certification stays in draft until you select Publish from the three-dot menu.
