About this resource

This interactive demo walks you through the Reports page, showing how to search across report names, columns, and descriptions, and how to filter by family categories such as Learners and activity, Certifications and compliance, and Admin and audit. You'll learn to read each report card for format, column count, and large-file warnings before running anything. The demo highlights the 'Use it when' section inside each report so you pick the right one, and explains that dates use UTC with the From date included and the To date excluded.

Questions this resource answers

How do I search for a report by topic?
Use the search bar on the Reports page. It searches report names, column names, and descriptions. Try words like certification, last login, or permissions.
What does the 'Use it when' section tell me?
It tells you the intended use case for that report so you can confirm it is the right one before you run it.
How do report date ranges work?
Dates use UTC. The From date is included in results, but the To date is not. To get all of September, enter September 1 as From and October 1 as To.
What does the large file warning mean?
It means the report can produce a very large file, so you should choose a short date range when running it.
