About this resource
This 6-step interactive demo shows how to enter a quarterly cost of learning into your scorecard. Because total cost of learning (ISO 6.41) cannot be computed automatically, it must be entered manually each quarter. The process covers selecting the quarter, typing your fully-loaded spend (platform, content, people, and travel), and optionally adding L and D full-time headcount. Once saved, the platform can calculate total cost of learning and cost per learner. Return each quarter to keep the data current.
Questions this resource answers
- Why do I have to enter the cost of learning manually?
- Total cost of learning is the one number the platform cannot see on its own, so a person must type it in each quarter.
- What costs should I include in the quarterly learning spend?
- Include platform, content, people, travel, and anything else your organization spends on learning that quarter.
- What happens after I save the quarterly cost?
- Once the figure is saved, the platform can calculate total cost of learning and cost per learner on your scorecard.
- Is adding L and D full-time headcount required?
- No, the FTE field is optional. Adding it will populate the FTE in L and D trend view.
