About this resource

This 8-step interactive demo walks you through uploading documents to Insight AI. Starting from the admin menu, you select Configuration under Insight AI, choose your knowledge base, open the Files tab, and upload supported file types such as PDF, Word, Excel, text files, and web pages. Note that scanned images will not work — files must contain selectable text. After uploading, you run Synchronize once to make all files live. Insight AI begins reading your files and they become available when the sync finishes.

Why won't my scanned document work in Insight AI?
Insight AI requires files with selectable text. Scanned images cannot be read.
Do I need to synchronize after uploading files?
Yes. Upload all your files first, then select Synchronize once to make them live.
How do I know when my uploaded files are ready in Insight AI?
After synchronizing, Insight AI reads your files. They are ready when the sync finishes.
