About this resource
This interactive demo walks administrators through creating a new learner group in LemonadeLXP's admin panel. Starting from the Groups section under CORE in the left menu, you'll learn how to enter group details like name and description, toggle Open Group or Sticky settings, and configure optional tabs including Labels (locale-specific names), Admins (for group analytics access), Featured courses, assigned Courses, and SAML claims for automatic learner assignment. Each tab must be saved before moving forward.
Questions this resource answers
- What is the difference between an Open Group and a Sticky Group?
- An Open Group allows learners to join themselves. A Sticky Group retains members even when an automated process like Active Directory would normally remove them.
- How do I access the admin panel to create a group?
- Type '/lxp-admin' after your Lemonade URL (e.g., 'abc.bank/lxp-admin'), then select 'Groups' under the CORE section in the left menu.
- Can I automatically assign learners to a group based on job title?
- Yes. On the SAML tab, you can add a SAML Claim to automatically assign learners with certain job titles to the group.
- What does the Group Admin role do?
- A Group Admin is an optional assignment that gives that person access to group analytics.
